First Phase Allotment for PG Medical Courses, Kerala-2022

Commissioner for Entrance Examinations commence activities related to the first phase of Centralized Allotment to Post Graduate Medical Courses for 2022-23 from 25th September 2022.

Eligible applicants included in the Kerala State Merit list for PG Medical Courses 2022 admission in the State can register their options online through the CEE website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 25th September 2022 -29th September 2022, 4 pm.

Eligible candidates can register new options during the first phase of counselling, based on which and based on rank and category allotment will be published. The candidate must pay a security deposit of Rs.10,000/- at the time of option registration. SC/ST/OE candidates and others eligible for fee concession should pay Rs.5000/- as the security deposit. The CEE offers free exit to all applicants during the first phase of counselling. For example, the candidates, who have got an allotment/admission through the first phase of state counselling, can leave the seats without paying the penalty. But if the candidate does not join the allotted seat in phase 1 or vacates the seat joined in Phase 1, they will not be considered for phase 2 allotment. Instead, their options will be deleted, and they will only be able to participate in the Mop-up round wherein new options are registered. Suppose a candidate gets an allotment and takes admission in the first phase. In that case, the security deposit will be adjusted to the tuition fee to be paid at the College. If they do not get an allotment in this or subsequent phases, the security deposit will be refunded after the entire counselling process. The options registered in the first phase will be considered for the Second phase of counselling as there is no facility for new option registration in the second phase. Only option confirmation/rearrangement/deletion of the existing options will be possible in Phase 2.

Candidates must click the ‘PG Medical 2022-Candidate Portal’ available on the CEE website and enter their application number and password to reach their home page. In addition, the Candidates can register their options online by clicking the menu item ‘Option Registration’ available on the home page after paying the security deposit. The candidates can give options per their priority of the Course-College combinations in the options list. A candidate needs to provide options only to a Course-College combination if they are sure to join the College and course under the chosen quota if allotted. The options registered online alone will be considered for course allotment. Candidates who seek admission under NRI quota/Minority in Self Financing Medical Colleges should register options online to the desired courses/colleges. Those candidates who have submitted all valid documents as stipulated for the NRI claim and those who have been issued a memo for the defect in the documents submitted for the NRI claim are eligible for registering options to the seats listed as NRI seats. However, options under the NRI quota will be considered for allotment only if the applicant is found eligible for the respective quota based on the online uploaded documents. For those candidates with a Memo for a defect in the NRI documents submitted, the last date for document submission will be 29th September 2022, 4 pm. The candidates who had uploaded Visa with validity expired/expiring and have been given relaxation ASC directions, to upload sworn affidavit, they will have to upload the valid visa/ online acknowledgement copy received at the time of visa renewal application on or before the last date fixed by the CEE for option confirmation to the second phase allotment to PG Medical courses.
