About Us
Christ Academy Group of Institutions were established in 2005 in Bangalore under the trust Devamatha Educational Foundation, with the vision of providing value-based education rooted in excellence and service. The journey began with the establishment of Christ Academy ICSE School, followed by the addition of the CBSE School, PU College, Degree and Postgraduate College (CAIAS), and Law College, making it a comprehensive educational hub. Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies (CAIAS) was founded in 2016 under Bangalore University and is approved by AICTE with NOC from the Government of Karnataka. CAIAS is a minority institution run by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), a Catholic religious congregation established by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, a visionary educationist and social reformer who dedicated his life to transforming society through education and faith. Though CAIAS is a minority institution, it is deeply committed to providing quality education to all students without distinction of religion, caste, or creed. The institute blends academic excellence with a holistic approach to learning, fostering intellectual curiosity, ethical values, and social responsibility.

Vision
‘Light to Enlighten’: Christ Academy’s vision is to create and disseminate the light of knowledge to one and all. Through the pursuit of stewardship in education, Christ Academy strives to build moral leadership in its student community and endeavors to transform every student into a caring and empathetic citizen who upholds the values of courage with humility.
Mission
Our mission is to provide a conducive and enabling environment that fosters self-discipline, promotes self-motivation and drives the pursuit of excellence in learning. Christ Academy strives to build a community that includes all stakeholders such as parents, the teaching community, and social leaders among others. This is to ensure that Christ Academy’s prime stakeholders, its students, transform into independent, enlightened citizens who care for the community and the country.
Placement
The Placement and Career Guidance Unit is intended primarily to assist students in their career planning and takes the initiative to explore new career avenues for graduates and post graduates through visits to new companies. CAIAS believes in timely counseling and arrange training sessions that enhances the students to compete with the best challenges in Industry. Career counseling programs are undertaken periodically by the placement coordinator to guide the students. Interactive sessions by the eminent persons in respective fields are conducted regularly.
The objective of the Placement Office is also on the professional development of the students by training them towards employability skills such as resume building, group discussion and interview skills which in turn helps the students to move into a desired occupation and/or apply in prestigious postgraduate and professional schools.
