Dr.Sri Sri Sri Shivakumara Mahaswamy College of Engineering (Dr.SMCE) run and managed by Kammagondanahalli Sri Maruthi Seva Samithi (R.) Our History Institution of academic excellence & has been established in the year 2008 with a cherished desire to serve the cause of humanity through education. Our Mission The college campus is free from polluted environment and provides an excellent atmosphere and ambience for growth of the mind. Our Vision We are committed to offer high quality education at affordable cost, epically to cater to needs rural students so enable them to compete with the urban people .. The institute has marked a niche in the field of Technical Education with the state of the art teaching equipment, innovative teaching methods, good infrastructure, highly qualified and experienced teaching faculty committed to imparting quality education. The dedicated teachers interact with every student through the proctorial system to counsel and guide them. The office staff is always ready to help the students in their academic and administrative matters. The library and information center, the repository of knowledge, with various International and National technical journals related to engineering & technology. The Campus is situated in the center of the city and near the country's industrial hub, which can be easily reached by public and Institution transportation system. Ever enthusiastic and active sports and games of the institute offer excellent opportunity to train oneself in all indoor and outdoor sports. Hostel for girls inside the campus with the best facilities adds to the attraction. An Auditorium, with an acoustic design, to house around 300 audiences with multimedia accessories and an amphitheater with a green and lustrous lawn having a capacity of 1000 people is the place for various activities and functions. The E-learning center has been fully equipped with the generous assistance of VTU where expert lecturers on various topics by eminent professors and professionals are made available to the students throughout the day. A high-speed (75mbps) Internet center is available on the campus. A language laboratory with advanced teaching aids is made available to all students. Dr.SMCE undertakes research and development work from many industries and institutions, for the benefit of students. Advanced techniques and methodologies are used in the handling of these projects. The students of Dr. SMCE are regularly taken on Industrial and site visits to enable them to observe and thereby learn contemporary practices and processes. Dr. SMCE is associated with a wide number of industries for this activity. The Department of Training and Placement of Dr.S MCE is an active center throbbing with various activities all through the year. The Institution has a complete infrastructure for the effective functioning of the department. The Placement Department is well-organized and sincerely working to empower students with various qualities and skills to achieve professional and personal excellence. Training programs and industry-related seminars are routine and the students are exposed to these kinds of programs from the very first day they step into the college. They are being prepared to be individuals with logical and analytical skills and with excellent practical knowledge. Also, the department is supporting the students to carry out their internships and projects in reputed Industries.

At Dr.Sri Sri Sri Shivakumara Mahaswamy College of Engineering, the students are trained on emerging technologies through industry collaborative programmes, projects and internship opportunities through labs. Students have ample opportunities to participate in sports and extra-curricular activities, technical competencies through various clubs at the departments. Our goal is to develop our students as technocrats who can contribute to the society and build a sustainable system. It gives me immense pleasure to present a profile of our institutions. Our institutions are located in a remote village of Nelamangala Taluk, with a sprawling campus of around eleven acres. Dear Students, a hearty welcome to the portals of DR.sri sri sri Shivakumara Mahaswamy College of Engineering established in the year 2008 by the great visionary philanthropist Honorable chairman sri Chennigappji from Minister, of government of Karnataka At present D.C. Venugopal is the Chairman of Dr.smce. The college is affiliated to VTU Belagavi and approved by AICTE New Delhi. The main aim of college is to provide quality Technical Education to the budding Engineers and to make them Technically Competent and Globally Acceptable Engineers in their respective domains. The college is located in Bangalore Rural amidst lush green, eco-friendly environment which is very conducive for learning and has excellent infrastructure. The college has a team of qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and technical supporting staff, spacious and well ventilated class rooms, well equipped laboratories, State of the art Library and Information Centre exits. The Library and reading rooms are kept open from 9:30 AM – 3:40 PM on all working days. We have a separate Sports Complex headed by a senior qualified and trained Physical Education Director. The college conducts number of sports tournaments and also encourage students interested in sports to participate in VTU, National and International Sports events. We have a separate Training and Placement centre headed by a senior Placement officer. The students are trained in their domains and render them employable. Number of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are conducted every year in the college. The college has Hostel facilities for both Boys and Girls and the hostels are headed by senior Wardens.

The Training and Placement Cell of Dr.SMCE is an active centre throbbing with various activities all through the year. The Institution has a complete Infrastructure for effective functioning of the Cell. Placement Cell is working towards empowering students with various skills to achieve professional and personal excellence. The Cellplays a major role in transforming the students to the expectations of the industry. All the students are informed about the necessity of maintaining good academic scores and are motivated regularly to achieve the same. Training programs and industry related seminars are conducted on regular basis. They are prepared to be individuals with logical and analytical skills.Guest lectures organized by theCell provide ample exposure to student on cutting edge technology and industry practices from technology experts from various MNC’s.Dr.SMCE offers excellent infrastructure for conducting on-campus and pooled campus placement activities.
Alumni
The Dr.SMCE Alumni Association (Dr.SMCE) was formally established in the year 2016, owing to the painstaking efforts and initiative of our beloved Principal Dr.A.Manjunatha.. A seed committee was formed where Prof. Sreenivasan A. became the first Secretary of Dr.SMCE. The committee held a membership drive and the first ever alumni meet was organized in the year 2016. Dr.SMCE is conducting various activities for the Alumni. The Dr.SMCE is proud to say that its alumni are well settled throughout the globe and are helping the current students by upgrading the library, sponsoring prizes for top rank holders and sharing their experiences in seminars and conferences. Alumni of Dr.SMCE in particular have excelled and acquired positions of eminence in every field imaginable-from engineering to management to finance, Renowned scientists, successful entrepreneurs and managers and leaders of society.
