Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery Course in Bangalore

Gradually evolving from Garden City to the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore is the third largest city in India. The program blends traditional Ayurveda with modern medicine and gives practical and theoretical exposure in both fields. Graduates become fully competent ayurvedic physicians and surgeons. The course trains students in Ayurvedic Philosophy, Ayurvedic History, Anatomy, Physiology, Toxicology, General Surgery and Para Surgical Techniques, and Panchkarma. It also has a one-year internship. They can work as Ayurvedacharya, Ayurvedic Doctors, Ayurvedic Practitioners, Public Health Specialists, Researchers and Educators in government and private ayurvedic hospitals, clinics, resorts, ayurvedic spas, health resorts, medical colleges, and universities. They also have opportunities abroad since Ayurveda is famous worldwide. Students can pursue higher studies in MD or MS programs. Different MD specialisations are Ras Shastra, Rog Nidan Avum Vikriti Vigyana, Kriyasarir, Dravyaguna Vigyana, Ayurveda Sidhanta, Swasthvritta, Kaumar Bhritya, Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana, Agad Tantra, Bhaishajya Kalpana, Kayachikitsa, Panchkarma, Ayurveda Sidhanta, Agad Tantra, Manovigyan avum Manas Roga. The MS specialisations are Shalya Tantra, Shalakya Tantra, Prasuti Tantra, Shalakya Tantra - Netra Roga, Shalya Tantra – Samanya, and Shalya Tantra – Samanya.
