However in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and Category I, 45% of marks in that subject shall be eligible for Admission. OMC 3.2 Admission to MCA course shall be open to the candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying examination with not less than 50% of marks in the aggregate of all the years of degree examinations. However, in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and any other group classified by Government of Karnataka for such purpose from time to time, the above aggregate percentage shall not be less than 45%.
