Course
M.Sc.in Electronic Media is a postgraduate program. Electronic media exists in many forms – radio, television, smart phones and more. It is a category of media through which one can spread information or communicate through electronic devices. It is a powerful version of media that has a visual appeal and is more convincing, as people can see live pictures of events on television or view text/images on smart phones.
The rapidly growing media industry demands a large number of media professionals with a thorough training in the various production and broadcasting methods. In this programme, the students will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the industry requirements. The curriculum emphasizes on both theoretical and practical components. This programme is designed to impart the information and knowledge of electronic media to those who aspire to work in the media and entertainment sector – Radio, TV, Advertising and Films. The students are expected to complete one project and internship in each year.
Eligibility
Candidate must have passed Bachelor degree examination in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PH students).
Duration: 2 years (4 Semesters)
