Management Colleges in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu state is in South India. The capital is Chennai, and the official language is Tamil. Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and the Indian Union Territory of Puducherry border the state. Tamil Nadu is connected to the rest of the world by roads, highways, railways, seaports and airports. The state has three international airports, Chennai International Airport, Coimbatore International Airport, and Tiruchirappalli International Airport. It has three major seaports located at Chennai, Ennore and Thoothukkudi, and seven other minor ports, including Cuddalore and Nagapattinam. It has an efficient rail network and is part of Southern Railway. Tamil Nadu is one of the high literate states in the country. It has around 37 universities, 552 engineering colleges, polytechnic colleges and arts and science colleges. Some of the well-known educational institutes in Tamil Nadu are the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, University of Madras, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli, Anna University, Agricultural University, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, IIIT (Indian Institute of Information Technology), Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram, Vellore Institute of Technology, IIM Tiruchirappalli, Annamalai University (Chidambaram), Presidency College Chennai, Loyola College, Madras Institute of Technology, PSG College of Technology Coimbatore, Institute of Technology Tamil Nadu, Dr Ambedkar Law University Tamil Nadu, National Law University, Christian Medical College Vellore, and Madras Medical College. Tamil Nadu Universities and colleges offer many management programs. Some of the courses are diplomas, BBA, BBM, B.Com, MBA and PG Management. The School of Management Studies was established under Tamil Nadu Open University Act 2002 to provide a platform for management education from a multi-sectoral perspective.
