Founded in 1979 and affiliated with VTU, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE) is a premier Indian institution offering 20 undergraduate and 6 postgraduate programs across a high-tech, Wi-Fi-enabled campus. The college maintains rigorous academic standards, evidenced by its NAAC ‘A’ grade, multiple NBA-accredited programs, and consistent top-tier rankings in the 2024 NIRF and India Today surveys. Faculty members drive excellence through student mentoring and significant R&D projects sponsored by elite organizations like ISRO and the DST. Beyond traditional academics, DSCE fosters professional growth through its Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) and specialized Centres of Excellence established in partnership with leading multinational corporations. Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE) managed under MGVP Trust is the manifestation of efforts, dreams and aspirations of all the people involved in the mission towards excellence.
We are in a highly competitive global market that demands niche skills and it is vital to ensure our curriculum is aligned with industry. DSCE being an autonomous Institute, we have worked with Industry experts and Researchers to develop value added curriculum to bridge industry –academia gaps. DSCE is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade. Fourteen of our UG programs namely Automobile Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Medical Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Chemical Engineering are accredited by National Board of accreditation (NBA).DSCE is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, approved by AICTE and UGC.
Placement
Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has an elite placement division to facilitate the placements for all students. The Centre provides pre-placement training in soft skills to all students to enable them to apprise to the modern corporate requirements in association with CIL - Centre for Innovation & Leadership and HR Division. The Placement Division also supports training in CV Writing, Aptitude Assessment, Mock interviews, Group Discussion etc., Internship opportunities in various companies will be provided for interested UG/PG students. DSCE is committed to provide best talent for corporates. The Placement division works with Corporates to build the overall Development of Students as per industry requirements.
