Course
B.E in Construction Technology and Management is an undergraduate program. Construction Technology management refers to the discipline of overall planning, coordination and control of projects. It is a branch of Civil Engineering. This course is a combination of civil engineering and construction management. Construction management is the overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from beginning to completion. Construction technologists should have good knowledge about different types of materials used for construction, along with testing procedures to assure quality control. The principles of drainage, water supply and distribution, heating and ventilation, and recycling of construction and demolition waste management.
Eligibility
- For UG, The admission to college is through the entrance test, Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Government & Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka COMEDK. The students with meritorious ranking are considered for admissions.
- A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as specialization
- A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with 45 % marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/ Computer science/ Electronics
