M.Tech. VLSI Design and Embedded Systems
Course
M.Tech. VLSI Design & Embedded System is a postgraduate VLSI Design course. The Course will cover device & circuit concepts in VLSI Design with related VLSI tools and hardware, microcontroller, embedded systems, DSP processors and its applications. VLSI Design & Embedded Systems Group is to address the research, development and design problems and advance their solutions in VLSI circuits for embedded system and ubiquitous computing applications. The areas are embedded system design, power electronics, wireless networks, signal processing, biomedical electronics, electronic instrumentation, and audio and speech processing. The programme curriculum is aimed at VLSI system design (both Front end & Back end designs) covering algorithms, Hardware Description Languages, System Architectures, Physical designs, Verification techniques, Simulation & Synthesis, Low power design techniques and mixed mode design methodologies.
Eligibility
Candidates who got their BE/ B.Tech /AMIE or equivalent degree securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate in Computer Science / Information Science / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Telecommunication Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.Duration:2 years
