M.A. Economics is a post-graduation program to sharpen student’s dexterity in areas of finance and management.M.A. Economics provides a deep insight of finance and management sectors and civilizes the soft skills of students which makes them face any challenge in the public sector, business or in industry. The program edifies the latest principles of economic theory. It even gives practical experience to students through internship programs.
The MA Economics programme equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills in economic models and application for a successful career in the field, with special emphasis on market forces and globalisation. Economics helps understand consumer behaviour, production, business, markets, government policies, financial markets and the process of globalisation. It enables students to understand and apply the acquired knowledge in real world situations
Eligibility
Candidate must have passed Bachelor degree examination in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PH students) with Economics as one of the optional subjects.
