Course
M.Tech. Cyber Forensics and Information Security is a postgraduate Forensic Science programme.Cyber Forensics Technology, also known as Computer Forensics Technology, plays a crucial role in the investigation of cyber offenses and online frauds. The challenge involves the extraction and analysis of digital evidence such as an electronic document, computer, laptop, IP addresses and storage mediums such as USB drives and hard disks. Cyber Forensics experts are proficient in the extraction of existing or deleted information from a storage or computing device for conducting investigations.
Eligibility
Passed in Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. or B.Tech.) / AMIE or equivalent in the relevant field and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination. In addition, the candidate must have also taken at least one of the following entrance exams: GATE/PGCET/CMRU Entrance Test
Duration: 2 Years (4 Semesters)
