Course
The Postgraduate Diploma in Psychometrics programme is designed to enable a Psychology graduate to apply theories into practice. The curriculum will enable the students to understand in-depth, the scientific procedure to develop a well standardized test. The purpose of this programme is to introduce the student to the concept of psychological measurement. The students will also gain a comprehensive understanding of the basic concepts of psychometry, measuring capabilities and quantifying responses in terms of underlying theory as well as application.
Eligibility
Candidate must have passed Bachelor degree examination in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PH students) with Psychology as one of the optional subjects.
Duration: 1 Year
Career Opportunities
On completion of this course, students can work as consultants for psychometric analysis in organizations and can also pursue a career in psychological test development. The students can work as psychometricians in different settings.
