Course
The MA Journalism and Mass Communication programme equips students with the technical expertise, conceptual skills and artistic expression required to become accomplished media practitioners. Through the use of theoretical knowledge and extensive communication skills in Print, Online, Television Journalism, Social Media, PR & Corporate Communication, Advertising, Television, Radio, Media Management, Event Management and Research, the programme encourages students to adopt a creative, professional and scholarly approach to media practices.
This programme is designed to impart the information and knowledge on print, radio, television and online media. In this programme, students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to meet the industry requirements. The students are expected to complete one project and internship in each year.
EligibilityCandidate must have passed Bachelor degree examination in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PH students) with Journalism as one of the optional subjects.
Duration: 2 years (4 Semesters)
