Ph.D. Commerce or Doctor of Philosophy in Commerce is a Doctorate course aims at training professionals and teachers in the skills and competencies related to the systematic investigation of various issues and problems in the area of Accounting & Finance, such as, management of risk, the valuation of financial assets, operations of capital markets, preparation and interpretation of financial and managerial information useful for an understanding of the theory and practice of investment and finance.
Eligibility
Candidates for admission to the Ph.D programme shall have a Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding ststutory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘b’ in the UGC 7- point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale) or an equivalent degree from foreign educational institution accredited by the approved assessment and Accreditation Agency.
Duration: 3 Years (full-time/part-time external options available)
