Course
Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Honours in Economics is a graduation course. Economics can be defined as the study of how individuals, market and nations manage and use resources. Economics enables people to understand consumers, markets and government policies to become better decision makers.
Students with a major in Economics will study how to evaluate scarcity of resources and find alternate solutions. This programme prepares a student to adapt to unexpected volatility. The study of Economics helps develop one’s critical thinking, analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to make good decisions.
Eligibility
Candidate should have passed the 2nd PUC/12th grade or equivalent examination recognized by the Central/State Government with 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of reserved category).
