Course
Diploma in Chinese is a one-year initial/beginners level certificate course in the Chinese language that aims at developing the basic ability of student in understanding and developing the nuisances of the language.
Chinese or Mandarin (as it is known officially) is world’s most spoken language with a significant percentage of speakers apart from native speakers of the language in China. It is a part of the Sino-Tibetan language family which was spoken by the members of Han community.
Diploma in Chinese course aims to provide a basic platform for better understanding and expression of the language to the students. Students are taught about the basic nitty-gritty to the practical usage of the language in terms of reading, writing, and speaking during the duration of their course. The basic aim of the course is to make a novice turned into an amid speaker and user of the language.
Eligibility
Candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 50% (relaxable for reserved category candidates) of the marks from a recognized state or central board
- He/She shall not be having any backlog or compartment in any of the subject/subjects at class 12th or equivalent level that is yet to be cleared at the time of taking admissions.
- Apart from the above-mentioned eligibility criteria’s various colleges/institutes may have their own additional criteria’s which the students would have to satisfy in order to take admission.
- In case of reserved category students, they would have to present their reservation certificates issued by the competent authorities in order to avail the benefits applicable to them.
Duration: 1 year (6 Months in certain cases)
