Application Invited for Admission to B.Pharm Lateral Entry Course 2021
Applications are invited for the entrance examination for admission to the B Pharm course for the academic year 2021-22 via a lateral entry in Government, Private, and Self-Finance Pharmacy colleges in Kerala. Applicants should be Indian citizens of Kerala origin. Candidates should have studied Diploma Pharmacy (according to the Education Regulations of the Pharmacy Council 1991) in any institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and must have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy examination conducted by the State Board of D. Pharm Examination or equivalent with 50% total marks. Candidates must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council and a registration certificate must be produced at the time of counseling. The selection of candidates for the B Pharm lateral entry 2021 course will be on the basis of a computer-based test conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE) at different centers. The examination consists of a paper of one and a half hours (90 min) in length and has 120 objective-type questions. Candidates seeking admission to B Pharm lateral entry course 2021 should apply online through the online application portal on the website https://cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examination and then pay the required fees through online payment or e-challan available when submitting the online application. Payment through e-challan can be made in cash at the Head/Sub Post Office in Kerala. After paying the required fee, the candidate should upload a photo, signature, and all the required documents/certificates. The online application portal will be opened on 28.06.2022 and will end on 6.07.2022 evening at 3 PM. Applications/documents submitted by other modes will not be considered. The acknowledgment page should be downloaded from the online application portal after the completion of the application submission procedure is only for personal reference and should not be sent to the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examination. The acknowledgment page indicates the completion of application submission only and not the validity of the application or uploaded documents which will be finalized only after the scrutiny of the application and will be approved at a later stage.
The application fee for the General category is Rs 800/- and Rs 400/- for SC candidates. There is no application fee for ST candidates. The application fee once paid will not be refunded. The prospectus for B Pharm lateral course 2021 is available on the website https://cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examination. The candidates seeking admission to the course must submit the online application along with the uploaded certificate/document as mentioned in clause 7.3.5 of the prospectus before 6.7.2022 3 PM. Late, defective, and incomplete applications will be briefly rejected. No correspondence will be made in this regard. Candidates can download the acknowledgment page for future reference. Admit cards of the applicants whose applications are accepted will be issued on the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examination before the computer-based test. The scheme, syllabus, and instructions for the applicants for the computer-based test are mentioned in clause 8 of the Prospectus for Admission to B Pharm Lateral Entry Course 2021 approved by the Government of Kerala. The CEE will conduct the Entrance Examination and publish the rank list of candidates according to the provisions of clause 10 of the Prospectus for Admission to B Pharm Lateral Entry Course 2021 approved by the Government of Kerala. Candidates will be allowed not to add any information to the application or to submit any certificate/documents for claiming reservation or other benefits after submitting the application.
