Application Invited for Master of Computer Application Regular Courses 2022-23
Applications are invited for the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) courses for the year 2022-23 at AICTE accredited educational institutions in Kerala. Applicants can pay the application fee through the website www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in or through any of the branches of the federal bank by downloading the Challan from May 10th to June 1, 2022. The application fee is Rs 1200/- for the general category and Rs 600/- for SC/ST category. The last date of submitting the online application is 4th June 2022. The application fee will not be refunded for any reason. Candidates must be Indian citizens. Candidates should have B. Sc/ BE/B. Tech Engineering degree or equivalent in BCA/ Computer Science IT, BA/ B. Sc/ B. Com/ BE/B. Tech/B. Voc. It is advisable to have studied Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level or undergraduate level. Those who do not study mathematics will have to qualify for a bridge course prescribed at the university/college level. Must have passed the qualifying examination with 50% marks. Procurement candidates should have secured a total of 45% marks. Marks are not adjusted to the next integer. Candidates applying for admission to these courses should have passed the qualifying examination from any University in Kerala or any other recognized university in Kerala. The candidates who are writing their final year examination/ awaiting the result can apply for the entrance examination. However, at the time of admission, they have to produce the certificate of passing the examination and the complete mark sheets. The entrance examination will be held on June 12, 2022, at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, and Kozhikode from 10 am to 12 noon. The exam will have 120 objective-type questions for a 120-minute duration. The detailed prospectus will be available on the website www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in. There are four steps to submit an application. Applicants must complete all steps in a timely manner. The steps include registration, payment of fees, uploading of photo, signature, academic details, and final confirmation. Application without final confirmation will be considered incomplete and the application will be rejected. The printout of the application form or other certificates should not be sent directly or posted to the LBS center under any circumstances. Information after verification of the application submitted by the applicants will be published on the website. Complaints should be reported within the stipulated time as stated on the website after reviewing the published information. If the applicant examines their claims and makes a complaint, the applicant will be solely responsible for the consequences of failure to notify in writing within the stipulated time. Complaints received after the due date will not be considered for any reason. College options can be registered only by the candidates who are ranked in the rank list. The time limit for registering the option will be published on the website and in the press. Details about the colleges are available on the website. Applicants who do not register for the online option within the time limit will not be considered for the allotment. An incomplete or incorrect application will be rejected. No correspondence will be made in this regard. Applicants will not be allowed to enter new information into the application or submit any certificates of receipt of reservation benefits or other benefits after submitting the application. After the publication of the results of the entrance examination, the allotment will be conducted by the LBS Center for Science and Technology Director on the basis of the rank list and subject to the provisions of the government-approved prospectus. Candidates should read and understand the various provisions of the prospectus before submitting the application.
