Applications Invited for Admission to Post Graduate Course in Pharmacy 2021-22
Applications are invited from eligible candidates in the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2021 for admission to Post Graduate Course in Pharmacy (M Pharm) 2021-22 in Government Pharmacy Colleges, and government merit quota seats in Self Financing Colleges in Kerala. The candidates who have passed the B Pharm Degree examination from any of the universities in Kerala or any other Universities approved by the Kerala University of Health Science as equivalent to completing the studies and related activities at an accredited institution by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi, Pharmacy Council of India with 55% marks in all three years of B Pharm Examination (B Pharm II, III, IV year) together will be eligible for admission. For SC/ST categories a minimum of 50% marks in all three years of the B Pharm examination (B Pharm II, III, IV year) together are required for admission. For in-service candidates seeking admission against the service quota should require 55%. Candidates who have passed B. Pharm from outside Kerala is eligible to apply only if their examination is approved by the Kerala University of Health Sciences before the last date mentioned for submission of academic data. The candidates with at least 5 years of professional experience after the completion of the B Pharm course will have a relaxation of 55% to 50% on the pass percentage for admission to M. Pharm. Only Indian citizens from Kerala are eligible for admission. To prove the nativity the candidates should upload any of the certificates issued as per clause 3.1 in the prospectus along with the online application. There is no upper age limit for general candidates for admission to the M Pharm course. Service Quota candidates should have at least 5 years of supervision service upon completion of the course in accordance with clause 8.1 of the prospectus. To qualify for admission to the Post Graduate course in Pharmacy (M. Pharm) 2021 all candidates including those who have applied under Service Quota must have qualified in the Gratitude Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT)- 2021 and figure in the rank list of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala. Candidates who have qualified other than the General UR ALL category as per the GPAT 2021 result issued by the NTA, should upload the required documents or undergo the verification process as mentioned in the prospectus to validate the respective category claim, in case of failure the applicant’s candidacy of the will be cancelled. Candidates are selected from the prepared rank list of Commissioner for Entrance Examination in Kerala on the basis of the rank of the qualified candidate in GPAT 2021 and subject to the other eligibility condition mentioned in clause 3 of Government approved prospectus. If the GPAT score is tied, the candidate including service quota with the highest marks in B Pharm (4th year marks/7 & 8-semester marks) will be given the highest position. If still, the tie is continuing, the older candidate will be placed higher. Those who do not qualify for GPAT 2021 are not eligible for admission. Candidates who have qualified in the respective category including service candidates seeking admission to M Pharm 2021 can be applied online through the link ‘M Pharm 2021 Online Application’ on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 2.06.2022 to 13.06.2022 till 3 PM to Commissioner for Entrance Examination. When applying online candidates should upload a scanned image of their recent photograph, signature, and all documents/certificates required to prove their claim including reservation as per the instruction given in the prospectus clause 9.2.4. No need to send a printout of the application acknowledgment page or any related document to the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examination. All candidates including service candidates are required to pay the fees through an online payment gateway with internet banking/credit card/debit card/ using e-challan payment at any Head and Sub Post Office in Kerala. The list of post offices is available on the website. The application fee for General/Service candidates is Rs 600/- and for SC/ST candidates the application fee is Rs 300/-. Service quota candidates must submit a copy of the application acknowledgment page, in addition to applying online page along with all the required documents including their service details to the relevant Controlling officer as mentioned in clause 9.2.5 of the prospectus on or before 3 PM on 13.06.2022. Malformed and incomplete applications will be rejected. No correspondence will be made in this regard. Selection of candidates for admission including those under service quota will be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination by Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) based on various conditions in the prospectus approved by the Government.
