Applications Invited for B.Sc Nursing Course at College of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services
Applications are invited from only female candidates who have registered and appear NEET (UG) 2022 for admission to the 4-year B.Sc Nursing course starting in 2022 in the College of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Sciences. Candidates will be selected for admission based on the final merit cum choice prepared using NEET (UG) score, Computer Based Test of General Intelligence, General English, Psychological Assessment Test, and Interview, subject to medical fitness and vacancies at each college. It is necessary for all candidates who are seeking admission for the B.Sc Nursing course at AFMS institution to register and apply at the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, should qualify for NEET (UG) 2022 conducted by NTA, and should upload their NEET (UG) 2022 score when asked. The eligibility includes female candidates who are unmarried/divorced/ legally separated/ widow without circumstances. The candidate should be an Indian citizen, and they should be between 1st October 1997 and 30th September 2005. Candidates must have passed on the first attempt in senior secondary examination or equivalent with physics, chemistry biology, and English with 50% marks as a regular student from a statutory/recognized board/ university/ examing body. Candidates appearing for the final year qualifying examination in the current year can apply provisionally. The candidates who get the selection have to submit proof of passing the qualifying examination with the required subjects and marks before joining. The candidates must have a minimum height of 152 cm, the candidates from Hill and North-eastern States should have a minimum height of 147cm. The interested candidates can register through www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 11th May 2022 to 31st May 2022. The candidates can register online by providing their name, mobile number, email id, and other details. Candidates must upload a scanned copy of all the required documents in the size and format mentioned. Candidates’ email id will be their user ID and they can choose their own password. By using the Edit menu candidates can make corrections in the application form and make sure that all corrections are made before submission. After submission, no corrections can be made. All candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 200/- through an online gateway payment. There are no fees for SC/ST candidates, they must upload the documentary proof. The candidates must regularly visit the website for updates and upload NEET (UG) 2022 scores when notified. It is the personal responsibility of the candidates to ensure a successful fee payment of the application fee. The receipt of a bank reference number (DU) is not a criterion for successful payment therefore the candidates should make sure that the application fee is debited from the bank account for a successful payment. Candidates should take a printout of the payment receipt and read it before submitting the application form. Candidates should make sure that the information provided in the application form is correct, and they should be aware of the intentional attempt, concealment, or misinterpretation of facts may result in the disqualification of the candidates at any stage of the selection process. It is the individual responsibility of the candidates to check the updates on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in to upload the NEET (UG) 2022 score, download the admit card for the interview, and should check the SMS and email on their registered mobile number and email id. No correspondence will be taken from the candidates regarding the receipt of application/ status/ details of application or reasons for rejection of the application. The hard copy of the application will not be accepted. Reasons for online application include incomplete application submission of more than one application, and application processing fee not paid.
