CEE Invites Applications for LLM Course 2022-23 Entrance Examination

Commissioner for Entrance Examinations invites applications for the Computer Based Entrance Examination LLM Course admission for 2022-23 in Government Law Colleges in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode and in Private Self Financing Law Colleges in Kerala state, which have entered into a seat-sharing agreement with the State Government.

The Applicant should be an Indian citizen. However, only Kerala-origin candidates are eligible for any reservation or fee concession. The Candidates should have passed the LLB examination (Five year / Three-year course) with 50% minimum marks from any University in Kerala or any other University recognised by the particular University in Kerala to which the college that the candidate desires to get admitted is affiliated, as equivalent to it. There is no upper age limit.

The CEE will conduct the Online Entrance Examination (Computer Based Test) on 6-11-2022 at the online centres of Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kannur. The examination schedule and other details will be notified later. The entrance examination shall be the standard of the LLB Examination with two parts of 120 minutes, each part consisting of 100 Objective Type questions.

The application fee is Rs.840/- for General and SEBC and Rs.420 for SC/ST candidates.

Candidates seeking admission should apply online through the official CEE website, www.cee.kerala.gov.in, from 17-10-2022 to 22-10-2022,4 PM.

They should remit the required application fee within the date by online payment or an e-challan available during online application submission. For example, Debit Cards, Credit cards or Net Banking can be used for Online Payment. In addition, the candidate can make an E-challan payment at any Head Post Office in Kerala before 22-10-2022, 4 PM.

The candidates who have remitted the fee successfully should upload a recent passport-size colour photo and signature of themself within the period. However, such candidates can upload all other required documents/certificates as mentioned in Prospectus clause 13.2.4 along with the online application till 29-10-2022, 4 PM. The candidate need not send the printout of the application to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations office.

Certificates/Documents to be uploaded with the Online Application should be in PDF format from10 kb to 500 kb. The candidates should upload their Election ID/Passport/ Birth certificate/SSLC as Nationality proof. The candidate can upload any documents mentioned under clause six as Nativity Proof. The relevant page of SSLC/Birth Certificate/Passport as a certificate to prove age. SC/ST candidates should upload a Community certificate obtained from Tahsildar. SEBC/OEC has to upload a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (for State Education only) in the prescribed format from the concerned Village Officer. The EWS Quota seats eligible candidates should submit the EWS Certificate from the concerned Village Officer. OEC candidates who do not come under the Non-Creamy layer category should upload Community Certificate from the concerned Village Officer. Candidates belonging to the communities listed in Annexure IV (b) should upload Non-Creamy Layer/Community and Income Certificates from the concerned Village officer in the prescribed format.

Candidates who are children of Inter Caste married parents of whom one is SC/ST should upload an Inter-Caste Marriage Certificate issued by Tahsildar. For Persons with Disabilities, upload a Certificate from the District Medical Board. Registered Fishermen children must upload a certificate from the concerned Fisheries Officer of Kerala Fishermen Welfare Fund Board for fee concession. The candidates who are inmates of Sri Chitra Home, Nirbhaya Home, Juvenile Home or any other such institution run by the Government can upload a certificate from the Director, Department of Women and Child Development for fee concession.

Under any circumstances, the candidates will not be allowed to include any additional information in the online application form or to submit any certificate/document claiming reservation or benefits after the online application submission. The CEE office will not accept applications in this regard or any other documents. Certificates submitted should be in the prescribed format available on the website or in the e-district format.

After CEE announce the date, the applicants for the online entrance examination can download their Admit Card from their website. In addition, the candidate must bring the downloaded admit card to the examination hall.

Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will conduct the institution-wise allotment by following the ranks obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Examination and also by order of preference of institutions registered by the candidates during the Online CAP (Centralised Allotment Process). The CAP date will be notified on the CEE website and also in the leading newspapers. The candidates should kindly note that CEE will not send individual intimation in this matter.

he Entrance Examination and following allotments will be based on the provisions laid down in the LLM Course Admission Prospectus, Kerala 2022-23, which is available on the CEE official website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.

Candidates are requested to go through the modified LLM online application, furnish the required details, and upload the necessary certificates. The candidates should read the Prospectus before submitting applications.
