DME Invites Applications for Diploma in GNM
Directorate of Medical Education (Kerala Government) invites applications for Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (2022-23) for the government nursing colleges under DME in Thiruvananthapuram/ Kottayam/ Kozhikode for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students. The applicants must have passed physics, chemistry, and biology as optional subjects and English as compulsory subjects with 40% marks in the Plus two examination. The students who passed ANM after Plus two from the Indian Nursing Council recognized institute could also apply.
The applicants must be 17 years old by 31st December 2022 and not more than 35 years old. There is no age limit for ANM pass-outs.
5% of seats are reserved for applicants eligible for the course, 40%-50% of the member limit (lower extremity).
The application form for Diploma in GNM and prospectus can be downloaded from the Directorate of Medical Education website (www.dme.kerala.gov.in). The applicants must submit application fees of Rs.100/- under the heading 0210-03-105-99 at Treasury. In addition, they should submit the filled application form and Azal Chelan form from the Treasury. (The duplicate challan form is not accepted.)
The photo attached filled application form attested by a guested officer, Azal treasury Chelan, SSLC, Plus two/equivalent, caste, permanent/ temporary address, character, physical fitness certificates (with photostat copies) (according to prospectus paragraph “17”) must reach Directorate of Medical Education office, Thiruvananthapuram before 17th August 2022. Late applications and incomplete applications would be rejected.
