Educational Qualification for Admission to B Pharm Courses has been Amended
According to the letter dated 9/3/2022, the Commissioner of Entrance Examination has informed that the KEAM 2022 Prospectus Revamp Committee meeting held on 22/2/2022 has decided to amend the eligibility for admission to the B Pharm course as stated in the clause 6.2.4 of KEAM Prospectus is outlined below pending Government approval. After examining the subject in detail, the Government is pleased to amend the eligibility for admission to the B Pharm course as mentioned below.
The existing qualification for the B Pharm course was candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics as an optional subject are eligible. The revised qualification for the B Pharm course is candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as optional subjects with 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics together and separate minimum marks for physics, chemistry, and biology/mathematics are eligible.
The Commissioner of Entrance Examination will revise Clause 6.2.4 of KEAM Prospectus 2022 for B Pharm courses to the above limits.
