KEA Conducts Mop-Up Round for UG Ayush Courses 2021

In the letter dated 30.03.2022 the Commissioner, Department of AYUSH informed that the Ministry of AYUSH dated 30.03.2022 has reduced the eligibility percentage/minimum eligibility criteria for NEET UG 2021 for the admission of UG AYUSH Courses 2021. Therefore new registration will be enabled for lowered eligible candidates. Interested and eligible candidates due to lowered qualifying percentage are only eligible to register from 16.04.2022 at 2 PM to 18.04.2022 till 2 PM and pay the fees before 18.04.2022 to become eligible for participating in the Mop-up allotment along with other eligible candidates for available UG AYUSH seats. Document verification will be held on 19.04.2022 from 10.30 AM to 1 PM at KEA, Bangalore, and candidates have to attend with all required documents. The notice dated 30.03.2022 regarding the percentage reduction of NEET UG 2021 for AYUSH courses are available on the KEA website.

After the second round seat allotment a mop-up round will be held for all the seats available for the admission to UG AYUSH courses to the vacant/cancelled seats. Only candidates who have not been allotted a UG AYUSH seat in the first or second round are eligible to participate in the Mop-up round. In addition, the lowered percentage candidates who qualify after verification can also participate in the mop-round seat allotment. Seats available for the mop-round will be hosted soon on the KEA website. The schedule for UG AYUSH Mop-up Round 2021includes the online registration only for lowered percentage qualified candidates is 16.04.2022, 2 PM to 18.04.2022 till 2 PM. The last date to pay the fees is 18.04.2022. The document verification only to lowered percentage qualified registered candidates is 19.04.2022, the candidates must report at 9.30 AM. The Mop-up round offline seat allotment will be conducted at KEA Bangalore on 21.04.2022 for Ayurveda course, on 22.04.2022 for Homeopathy & Unani Courses. For Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani courses the Mop-up round will be conducted on the basis of 1st to last rank of UG NEET in All India Rank. For Yoga and Naturopathy the Mop-up round will be conducted on 23.04.2022 on the basis of 1st to last rank of CET 2021. For Mop-up round the candidates must report at 9.30 AM. The last date for reporting to the allotted college is for Homeopathy and Ayurveda is 23.04.2022, 5.30 PM and for Yoga and Naturopathy 25.04.2022, 5.30 PM. The required documents for the Mop-up round are the candidates must bring all the required documents as mentioned in the verification slip. Verification slip is obtained from KEA. Candidates are not allowed to participate in the mop-up round without any prescribed documents mentioned in the verification slip. Candidates are required to pay the fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn up in favor of The Executive Director KEA to be paid in Bangalore. Applicants can bring multiple demand drafts for different categories depending on their willingness to select the available seats. If any seat is cancelled after the allotment in the mop-up round, the entire fees paid will be confiscated and the candidate will be liable to pay the prescribed penalty. The candidate will not be eligible for any future allotment through centralized counseling in Karnataka. Only the candidate should attend the mop-round of counseling, no one can represent the candidate.
