KEA Invites Applications for Common Entrance Test 2022
According to Rule 3, Rule 6(3) & Rule 7 Of the Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Government Seats in Professional Education Institution Rules 2006 and the directions of the government Karnataka Exam Authority (KEA) invites application for the Common Entrance Test 2022 from the eligible Karnataka candidates including the children of Jammu & Kashmiri migrants to the admission to the first year or first semester courses in Government share seats in Engineering, Technology, Naturopathy & Yoga, B.Pharma and Pharm D, Agriculture courses and Veterinary courses in Government/ University/ Private Aided/ Private Unaided Professional Education Institution in Karnataka state for the academic year 2022-23. To become eligible for the admission to mentioned courses by KEA candidates have to register for CET 2022, fill out the online application, pay the fees, download the hall ticket and appear for CET 2022, conducted by KEA. For the admission of Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy courses candidates must qualify for UGNEET 2022, for architecture courses candidates must qualify for NATA 2022, further, the candidates should register for CET 2022. Only the citizens of India are eligible to apply for CET 2022. The candidates who do not follow any of the clauses/eligibility criteria are not eligible for the professional courses under the government quota. For UGCET 2022 Information Bulletin having all the details was published on the KEA website. Candidates can register and fill out their Online Application form for CET 2022 from 18.04.2022 1 PM to 5.05.2022 till 11.59 PM. The last date of payment of fees is 6.05.2022. Candidates can modify the information in the online application only for the candidates who have paid their fees is 7.05.2022 from 11 AM to 10.5.2022 till 5.30 PM. Submission of Special Category Original Certificates as per the information bulletin is 2.06.2022 to 8.06.2022. Candidates can download their hall tickets from 30.5.2022 at 11 AM. The timetable for CET 2022 includes 16.06.2022, Thursday from 10.30 AM to 11.50 AM Biology and 2.30 PM to 3.50 PM Mathematics. On 17.06.2022 Friday from 10.30 AM to 11.50 PM Physics and 2.30 PM to 3.50 PM Chemistry. Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates is 18.06.2022 Saturday from 11.30 AM to 12.30 PM.
The candidates who have received a seat in any course by KEA in previous years and the candidates who have not surrendered their seats within the prescribed time for the entry of options for the final round are not eligible for seat allotment to the same discipline during 2022. However, the candidate is eligible to appear for CET 2022 seat allotment for any other disciplines. Academic eligibility, College admissions, and Seat Allotments to any college will be according to the rules and conditions specified from time to time/ approval by MCI, DCI, AICTE, COA, NCISM, NCH, PCI, Government, University, Apex Bodies, etc.
