KEAM 2021-Guidelines for Vacancy Filling of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Medical Allied Courses at Institution Level

Vacancies existing/occurring in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Medical Allied Courses in private self-financing colleges are filled by the Institutions. Eligible candidates should report to the concerned college authority will all the required documents including the original TC and the fees that should be paid before the last reporting time. The reporting period for the candidates is from 17.05.2022 to 20.05.2022 at 2 PM. The eligibility for participating in the vacancy filling includes each category of vacant seats at this stage, candidates included in the supplementary rank list prepared by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination will be considered for filling up on the basis of the notification dated 12.05.2022. Applicants must be eligible as per the eligibility criteria prescribed for each course. Candidates must not be currently admitted in MBBS/ BDS/ Pharmacy/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ Medical Allied Courses and not received an allotment in mop-up rounds of MBBS/ BDS/ Pharmacy/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ Medical Allied Courses. Candidates should have the academic qualification as prescribed in KEAM 2021 prospectus clause 6.2. Candidates should not be included in the list issued by AACC. Two lists are provided to fill the vacancies at this stage; i.e., Priority List 1 and Priority List 2. Priority List 1 is based on the options registered by the candidates with the notification dated 12.05.2022 and the existing vacancies (two lists have been prepared one is based on Ayurveda rank and the other is based on Medical Rank). Colleges should consider this list as a priority list and admit those candidates who report to the college with all required documents. In priority list 2, all eligible candidates included in the Supplementary Rank List regarded by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination on 14.05.2022 with the options provided. Candidates from this list will be considered if they report before 20.05.2022 at 2 PM and if a sufficient number of candidates from list 1 do not report within the prescribed time.

Guidelines for allotment which should be followed by the college and the candidates include vacancy should not be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligible candidates can report to the college authorities with all the required documents including the transfer certificate. All documents listed in the prospectus, documents to be submitted to the college authority for taking admission, must be submitted to the concerned college authority before the end of the reporting period. Do not make seat allocation before the end of the reporting period, admission should be only finalized in the rank order from the reported candidates before the college authority in compliance with the provisions of the previous para. Admission should be finalized only after the end of the reporting period. If any fee is charged, this should be refunded immediately from the candidates who did not get admission in the end. Admission to any category seats should be made from the candidates involved in the relevant categories only. However, in the event that not enough candidates report for any category seat, then the college authority may transfer the category seat to another qualified category seat as per the prospectus provision. The reporting time for all eligible candidates will end on 20.05.2022 at 2 PM, whether category conversion is necessary or not. College authorities should check the Supplementary rank list, certificates, and NEET scores of the candidates, academic qualifications should also be checked by the college authorities. College authorities will not provide admission to the candidate involved in the provisional allotment/rank list unless they submit valid documents to CEE and get cleared their candidacy will be removed from the provisional status. The college authorities should forward the list of candidates who have reported before the college authority, rejected candidates if any with the reason for rejection, candidates finally admitted, and vacancy details (if any) to the CEE on 20.05.2022 at 5 PM. The list should include the KEAM 2021 roll number, the supplementary rank of the candidate, category, if applicable, reporting time, and the name of the candidate.
