KEAM 2021-Option Registration Facility for MBBS/BDS Courses Mop-Up Allotment
The seat vacancies in MBBS/BDS courses in Government/Self-financing colleges after the second allotment will be filled through Mop-up round allotment conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination. The candidates who are in the Kerala State Medical Rank list can register new options from 26.03.2022 to 31.03.2022, 10 AM. The candidates who have secured admission for MBBS/BDS through All India Counselling are not allowed to participate in the Mop-up allotment. To participate in the Mop-up round allotment, candidates can register their options through the website https://www.cee.kerala.gov.in/ by clicking the menu ‘Mop-up Online Registration’ available on the Home Page. Since the vacancies that arise during the Mop-up allotment should be filled then the candidates should give options to all colleges and courses in which they want to study for the course, for allotment. Candidates who have already secured admission for MBBS/BDS course through any previous allotment conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination, get allotment through Mop-up allotment, then the current admission of the candidate will be cancelled. So, the candidates should be very careful while giving options where they want to study for the course if they get an allotment.
Guidelines for Mop-up allotment include Candidates who have secured admission for MBBS/BDS course through All India counseling are not eligible to participate in Mop-Up allotment. College/Course transfer will not be allowed in Mop-up allotment. If any candidates get allotment through Mop-up round their existing admission of MBBS/BDS course will be cancelled. In any instance, the seats allotted through the Mop-up round will not be changed.
The candidates can register their options through the website from 26.03.2022 to 31.03.2022, 10 AM. Mop-up allotment will be published on 2.04.2022, the students have to join the allotted college after paying the balance fees (if any) from 4.04.2022 to 6.04.2022, 2 PM. The college authorities should update the details of candidates who have joined through OAMS on 6.4.2022, 3 PM.
After Mop-up allotment, if any vacancies occur then it will be filled through Stray Vacancy Allotment, by the same options registered for Mop-up allotment. Candidates who do not join after getting Mop-up allotment and those who have left the seat after joining the college through Mop-up allotment will not be considered for Stray Vacancy Allotment.
