KEAM 2021-Stray Vacancy Allotment to the Admission of MBBS Course 2021
The current vacancy existing in the MBBS course after the Mop-up allotment in Government/Self-financing Medical colleges for the academic year 2021-22, will be filled through Stray Vacancy Allotment. The allotment list of vacant seats available after Mop-up allotment is published on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. The allotment list is published based on the options registered by the candidates during the MBBS/BDS allotment. Candidates who have secured admission in MBBS/BDS course through All India allotment and candidates who are currently admitted in MBBS/BDS course through the allotment made by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination and those candidates who get admission through Mop-up allotment are not eligible for Stray vacancy allotment. The details of the allotment of the allotted college will be available on the Home Page, candidates who receive allotment should take a printout of the allotment memo from the Home Page. Allotment details like Name, Roll Number, Allotted Course, Allotted College, Category of Allotment, Fees Details will be available in the allotment memo. The candidates who get allotment through Stray Vacancy allotment should pay the fees/balance fees, if applicable to the Commissioner of Entrance Examination as mentioned in the allotment memo by Online Payment or through any of the Head Post offices in Kerala and must join in the allotted college on or before 16/04/2022 2 PM with the documents mentioned in Prospectus Clause 11.7.1.
The candidates allotted under SC/ST/OEC category and those candidates with benefits as per G.O.(MS) 25/2005/SCSTDD dated 20.06.2005 and G.O(MS) 10/2014/BCDD dated 23.05.2014 and the candidates from Sree Chithra Home, Juvenile Home, Nirbhaya are eligible for the fees exemption. However, if they are allotted under NRI/Minority Quota seats in Self-Financing Medical college then they have to pay the full fees as prescribed and are not eligible for any fees exemption. Candidates who get allotment can download the ‘Data Sheet’ containing the basic information of the candidates by clicking on the menu item ‘Data Sheet’ available on the Home Page of the candidate. A printout of the Data Sheet and Allotment Memo should be produced before the college authorities during the time of admission. The registration fee of the candidates who do not join the MBBS course within the given time after getting the allotment through Stray Vacancy allotment and those candidates who lose their seat after joining the course will be treated as a fine and will not be refunded. Penalties will be applicable to the candidates who lose their seat through Stray Vacancy Allotment as per KEAM 2021 Prospectus clause 12.2.4 (c) (ii)
