Kerala Government DME Invites Applications for Post Basic BSc Nursing
The Directorate of Medical Education under the Kerala Government invites applications for Post Basic BSc Nursing course. The admission to Kerala state government and private colleges for the academic year 2022-23 is based on the prospectus prepared based on the government's rules. The applicants can apply through the website of the LBS centre director, www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in, from 27th July 2022 to 20th August 2022. The prospectus can also be downloaded from the website.
The application fees are Rs.1000/- for general and Rs.500/- for SC/ST. The applicants can pay application fees online or using the challan downloaded from the website. The downloaded challan can be submitted at any federal bank branch from 27th July 2022 to 20th August 2022.
The duration of Post Basic BSc Nursing is 24 months. The applicant must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects in plus two. They should also have passed GNM with 50% from an institution approved by Indian Nursing Council and State Nursing Council.
Other than the service quota, applicants are selected based on the entrance exam rank list conducted by the LBS centre director in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, and Kozhikode centres. The common entrance examination hall ticket can be downloaded from the LBS centre website, www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in. The hall tickets are not sent by mail anymore.
