Kerala Government Invites Applications for the Integrated Five-Year LLB Course Entrance Exam

Kerala government office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations invites applications for the Computer Based Entrance Examination Integrated Five Year LLB Course 2022-23 admission in the four Kerala Government Law Colleges and the Private Self-financing Law Colleges in Kerala seat sharing agreement with the State Government.

The applicant must be an Indian citizen. But, only Kerala-origin applicants receive any reservation or fee concession. The applicant should pass the plus two higher secondary examinations or equivalent with 45% (42% for socially and educationally backward classes and 40% for SC/ST) marks. The candidate appearing for the qualifying exam is also eligible to apply, but they should produce a pass certificate and mark list at the admission time. The applicant must have completed atleast 17 years of age as on 31.12.2022.

The Computer Based Entrance Examination will be conducted at centres in all Kerala districts. The date and time of the LLB Entrance Examination will be notified later. The entrance exam questions will be based on General English, General Knowledge, Arithmetic & Mental ability and Aptitude for Legal Studies. The LLB Entrance Examination will be two hours long and have 200 objective-type questions of three marks each. [Total: 200 questions x 3 marks =600]. One mark will be deducted from the applicant for every wrong answer.

A General/SEBC category applicant should receive 10% of total marks in the Entrance Examination, and an SC/ST category applicant should get a minimum of 5% of total marks.

The entrance exam application fee is Rs. 685/- for General and SEBC candidates and Rs. 345/- for SC/ST candidates. Online applications and fees can be submitted through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the CEE (Commissioner for Entrance Examinations) from 26.07.2022 to 04.08.2022 05:00 PM. Online payment can be made using Debit Card/Credit Card/ Net Banking. E-challan payment can be made in cash at any Kerala Head Post Offices. After fee payment, the candidate should upload documents to prove Nationality, Date of birth, recent passport size colour photograph and scanned image of their signature within the deadline date. As mentioned in the prospectus, all other required documents/certificates can be uploaded to the online application by 08.08.2022 at 03:00 PM. There is no need to send the printout of the application or any supporting documents to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations office.

The CEE will make seat allotment according to the candidates’ ranks in the LLB Entrance Exam and according to the order of preference of institutions (options) registered by the candidates during the online Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). The details of CAP will be notified on the website of the CEE and in all leading newspapers. The Computer Based Entrance Examination and subsequent allotments will be based on the provisions laid down in the Prospectus for Admission to Integrated Five Year LL.B Course 2022-23, available on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
