Kerala Government Offers Scholarships to Academically Brilliant Degree Students from Financially Backward Families:
As per the Chief Minister's 10 point programme plans, degree students from financially backward families and academically sound are offered scholarships by the Kerala government. Applications are invited from economically backwards, and academically brilliant students successfully completed different degree courses in colleges affiliated with the following universities from the academic year 2020-21. The students can submit their application on College Education Official Scholarship Distribution Online Portal, https://dcescholarship.kerala.gov.in from 21 st Feb 2022 to 5th March 2022.
- The students would be selected from the final year degree batch of the academic year 2020-21 based on their aggregate marks scored.
- The applicant must have completed and passed their degree exams (or equivalent) in regular courses from the colleges affiliated to the following universities in Kerala with above 75% marks.

2. University of Calicut
3. Cochin University of Science and Technology
4. Mahatma Gandhi University
5. Kannur University
6. Kerala University of Health Sciences
7. Kerala Veterinary and Animal Science University
8. Kerala Agricultural University
9. Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies
10. National University of Advanced Legal Studies
11. Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit
12. Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology
13. A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University
14. Kerala Kalamandalam
- The students would be selected based on merit from the application received from different universities. The scholarship would be determined based on the total number of students enrolled in various bachelor's courses available in the bachelor's department of the universities.
- The annual income of the applicant must be less than Rs 2.5lakh.
- The scholarships would be decided separately based on the subjects taught in different colleges of the affiliated universities.
- The applicant must upload their degree certificate, consolidated mark list, latest income certificate at the time of application.
