Kerala PG Medical Degree/Diploma Admissions
The Kerala Government invites online applications for allotment/admission to Post Graduate Medical (Degree/Diploma) courses for the academic year 2022-23. The candidates must have qualified in the NEET-PG (2022). The admission is for the state quota seats in Government Medical Colleges, Regional Cancer Centre (Thiruvananthapuram) and the entire seats, including NRI Quota and Minority Quota seats available in the private self-financing Medical Colleges in Kerala. The last date for Medical Post Graduate Degree/Diploma courses-2022 Online application submission is 20th August 2022 till 10 am.
The rank-list seat allotment for all the courses in the Self-Financing Medical Colleges will be made according to the orders of the Honorable Supreme Court India/ Honorable High Court of Kerala or as per orders of the Government of Kerala/ Government of India or as per the law in existence during Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). Applicants should hold an MBBS degree/ provisional MBBS pass certificate approved by NMC (MCI) with MBBS qualification registered permanently/provisionally with NMC (MCI)/ State Medical Council and must complete one year of internship or complete it on or before 31st May 2022. (Admission to the above candidates will be given after they have obtained registration of TC Medical Council).
Applicants should also be Indian Citizens of Kerala origin. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) will be considered only for the NRI seats. The applicants who are sons/daughters of Non-Keralite parents but obtained an MBBS Degree from any of the Medical Colleges in Kerala are eligible. But they are not considered for Communal/Special/Persons with Disability reservation benefits. There is no Upper age limit for PG Medical courses admission, with some exceptions. The upper age limit for the Medical Education service quota applicants will be 47 years. The upper age limit for Health service quota/Insurance Medical service quota applicants will be 45 years.
All the candidates looking for Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma courses admission (including service candidates for PG Diploma courses) in the Kerala State for the academic year 2022-23 should qualify the NEET PG-2022 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate) conducted by the National Board of Examination, New Delhi. The General/ EWS applicants should obtain a minimum score of 275 (50th Percentile). The SC/ST/SEBC (including PWD of SC/ST/SEBC) applicants should obtain a minimum score of 245 (40th Percentile). The UR PwD applicants should obtain a minimum score of 260 (45th Percentile).
The last date for online PG application submission and uploading documents/certificates for all candidates, including in-service candidates, is 20.8.2022 by 10 am. However, defective and incomplete applications are not considered, and no correspondence will be undertaken. No claims without necessary proof will be accepted. Application Fee for General and Service Quota applicants is Rs.1000/-, and for SC/ST applicants and those eligible for SC/ST benefits are Rs.500/-. Service quota candidates should also pay an additional amount of Rs.1000/- if they apply for the general seat. The hard copy of the PG application form and Prospectus is unavailable from the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and Medical Colleges.
