LBS Invites Online Application for State Eligibility Test July 2022
As per G.O. (Rt) No. 2175/2022 GEDN dated 1/4/2022, the LBS Centre for Science and Technology is responsible for conducting the Kerala State Eligibility Test 2022 for recruiting the teachers for Higher Secondary and Non-Vocational Higher Secondary school teachers. The prospectus of SET July 2022 and syllabus are available on the LBS website. The basic qualification for SET is post-graduation with a 50% mark or equivalent grade with B.Ed. Post Graduates in certain subjects are exempted from the requirement of B.Ed. The candidates who have passed LTTC, and DLED training courses are also eligible for SET.
The candidates who have secured any one of the basic qualifications can apply for the SET examinations with the following conditions. The postgraduate degree holders should be studying for the final year of the B.Ed. Course. Those who are pursuing the final year post-graduate course should have B.Ed. Degree. Candidates appearing for the SET Examination as per the above conditions should have obtained the prescribed qualification of their PG/B.Ed. Examination within one year from the date of declaration of the SET Examination otherwise they will not be considered as having passed the SET Examination at that chance.
Those appearing for this exam can register online from 6/4/2022 to 20/4/2022. Candidates belonging to General/OBC categories have to pay an examination fee of Rs 1000/- and SC/ST/PwD candidates have to pay Rs 500/- through online. Applicants belonging to the PwD category should have an attested medical certificate from Gazetted Officer, for the candidates of SC/ST should have an original proof certificate of their belonging caste and Noncriminal original certificate from the OBC/Noncriminal category (received between April 7 2021 and April 25, 2022) should be submitted if they are passing the SET exam. Candidates appearing for the SET Examination are required to register online through the LBS Center website as instructed in detail in the prospectus. Online registration should be completed on 20th April 2022, before 5 PM.
