MCC Scheduled to Conduct Online Counselling for Special Stray Vacancy Round for UG (MBBS) Seats 2021
The eligible candidates of UG NEET who are registered with the MCC of DGHS are informed that this year Medical Counselling Committee of DGHS conducts an online Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS seats. However, 325 MBBS seats of All India Quota/Central University/Central Institutes/AIIMS/JIPMER are still vacant. Details of vacant seats are available on the MCC website www.mcc.nic.in. In this regard, the competent authority has decided to conduct a Special Stray Vacancy Round for vacant 325 seats in an online mode so that the valuable All India Quota/Central Institute/Central University/AIIMS/JIPMER seats are not wasted.
The schedule for the payment of the Security deposit for the Special Stray Vacancy Round is 20th April 2022 to 21st April 2022 till 3 PM. The candidates can fill their choices and lock their choices from 20th April 2022 to 21st April 2022. The choice locking will be available on 21st April 2022 from 3 PM to 11.59 PM. The processing of seat allotment is on 22nd April 2022, the allotment will be published on 23rd April 2022 and the candidates must report to the allotted college from 24th April to 28th April 2022.
The guidelines for Special Stray Vacancy Round include No new registration will take place in Special Stray Vacancy Round. All pre-registered candidates who do not have a seat are eligible to participate. However, candidates for the special stray vacancy round will be required to fill out fresh choices. All registered candidates irrespective of their category are required to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 50,000 for participating in the Special Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates who do not join the seats allotted to them in the Special Stray Vacancy Round will lose their refundable security deposit. Candidates who do not have seats in the All India Quota or State quota are eligible to participate. Candidates who are allotted a seat in the Special Stray Vacancy Round have to report to the allotted college and join the seat with their original documents. The candidates who have previously registered on the MCC portal but have not held any seats in the previous rounds of NEET-UG Counselling 2021 of the All India quota/State quota are eligible to participate. Candidates already allotted and joined in AIQ/State counselling, also, the candidates who have allotted a seat in AIQ Mop-up Round & Stray Vacancy Round conducted from 1st April to 11th April 2022 for MBBS seats by MCC and did not join in the allotted seat are not eligible to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round.
