Online Application Invited for Kerala Management Aptitude Test 2022 for MBA Course
Applications are invited for the Online Entrance Examination for the MBA course in Kerala Management Aptitude Test first session (KMAT) 2022. For KMAT Indians and Non-Indians are eligible but only Kerala candidates are eligible for Communal/Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fees exemption. Candidates must have completed Bachelor’s Degree with a duration of a minimum of three years in Arts, Engineering, Commerce, Management, or equivalent as eligibility criteria for the course. The candidates who are appearing for the final year exams are also eligible, as their results will be published before starting the admission process of KMAT. Applicants should have obtained minimum marks as mentioned for the admission to MBA courses by the universities to which the candidates want to apply. The Entrance Examination will be a computer-based test conducted in all districts of Kerala on 7.05.2022 Saturday. It will be a three-hour exam with 180 objective-type questions of four marks each and for every one wrong answer, one mark will be deduced. The details regarding the time and other instructions regarding the exam will be updated later. The cutoff marks of the General/SEBC category candidates are 72 marks and above, for SC/ST/PD category the cutoff is 54 marks. The qualified candidates in KMAT Examination are eligible for MBA admission in various Universities/Departments and other management colleges in Kerala. The application fee for General and SEBC candidates is Rs 1000/- and for SC/ST candidates is Rs 750/-. The candidates can apply online through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner of Entrance Examination from 12.04.2022 to 21.04.2022 10 AM. Candidates can pay their fees through online payment (Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card) or by e-challan available while applying online for the entrance examination. Payment of e-challan can be made at any of the Head/Sub Post Offices in Kerala. Candidates must upload a recent passport size color photograph and signature to the application form. The fee will not be taken or refunded for future examinations. Applications submitted once cannot be withdrawn. Candidates who have applied for the entrance examination can download their Admit Cards from the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from the date to be notified by CEE. Admit card along with valid ID proof should be brought to the examination hall. The Commissioner of Entrance Examination will not accept any request for change in date/centers of examination once announced.
The general instructions for the KMAT 2022 are; Attending and qualifying for KMAT 2022 gives no rights to the candidate for the admission of MBA admission. Selection and admission to MBA courses are subjected to the admission criteria, eligibility, and other criteria mentioned by Government, Universities, and Institutions. The applications of the candidates who submit false and fabricated information will be rejected and will be barred from participating in examinations conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination. Such candidates are prosecuted under applicable laws for criminal. Incomplete applications and applications which are not according to the instructions will be discarded without any further notice. Instructions in the information bulletin may change/update based on the decision made by competent authorities from time to time. Candidates should check the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in regularly for the latest updates. The Commissioner of Entrance Examination reserves the right to withdraw permission granted carelessly to any candidate who is not eligible to attend the examination although, their admit card has been issued by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination. The eligibility of KMAT 2022 is completely provisional and subject to the completion and proof of eligibility criteria mentioned by the admitting institutions.
