PG Admission 2021-Revised Mop-Up Schedule
As per the National Board of Examinations file No. U-1201/21/2022-MEC, dated 12th March 2022, MoHF, the NEET PG 2021 minimum eligibility percentage has been lowered. For the General category, the revised minimum qualifying criteria as directed by MoHF is 35 percent and the cutoff is 247. For SC/ST/OBC (including PwD of SC/ST/OBC) the revised qualifying criteria is 25 percent and for the persons with disability (UR), it is 30 percent. The revised cut-off for SC/ST/OBC is 210 and for the persons with disability is 229.
Based on the revised minimum qualifying criteria for PGM 2021 for the state quota seats the online application submission will be opened from 16-03-2022, 3 pm to 19-03-2022 till 10 am. As per the revised qualification, the online application submission is applicable only for those newly qualified candidates. According to the revised minimum qualifying criteria, the eligibility for applying for the general category is between 35 percent and 50 percent, for SC/ST/SEBC (including PwD of SC/ST/OEBC) it is between 25 percent and 40 percent, also the person with a disability (UR) it is between 30 percent and 45 percent.
Candidates claiming for any community reservation (SC/ST/SEBC) with above 40 percent and below 50 percent and the candidates in PwD with above 45 percent and below 50 percent will be considered in the General category even if they provide the documents required to prove their claim through online. Such candidates have already been given the opportunity to upload their documents and apply under the said reserved category before 23-01-2022.
Candidates can submit the online application through ‘PG Medical 2021- Re-Opening Online Application’ and have to complete the online application and should upload the required documents before the last date. The application is available on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. Newly qualified candidates, finding a place in the new rank list (combined with newly qualified candidates and existing candidates in the Kerala Merit list) can participate with existing candidates, in the remaining stages allotment is subjected to the condition that no allotment or admissions which made in the previous allotment are disturbed.
According to the revision made in the All India Counselling schedule by the Medical Counselling Committee, the schedule of Mop-up allotment in State quota seats has been revised. The date of option registration is from 25-03-2022 to 28-03-2022, the allotment date is 30-03-2022, the date of joining is 1-04-2022 to 4-04-2022. As notified by vide press release the last date of surrendering the seat was 8-03-2022 is now extended to 26-03-2022. The conditions for participating in mop-up allotment will be announced later.
