Second Session KMAT-2022 Notification
Kerala Government invites applications for the Kerala Management Aptitude Test (Second Session of KMAT-2022), an Entrance Examination to the MBA Course.
Only Keralite candidates are eligible for reservations and fee concessions, even though Indians and foreigners are eligible for the exam. There is no age bar. The applicant must have passed a bachelor’s degree in any area with the minimum required marks decided by each university. The final year degree students can also apply, provided their results are declared before the admission process begins for the KMAT 2022. Document proofs of applicable eligibilities should only be submitted before the College/University authorities at the time of admission. There is no need to upload them along with the online application or submit them to the Commissioner for Entrance Examination.
The computer-based entrance test will be conducted at the centres across all Kerala districts on a date to be announced later by CEE (Commissioner for Entrance Examinations). The exam will be of three hours duration with 180 Objective Type questions of four marks each. (Total 180x4=720).
The KMAT Examination qualified candidate is eligible for admission to MBA Courses in various Universities/Departments and other Management Colleges in Kerala. The application fee is Rs.1000/- for General and SEBC candidates and Rs.750/- for SC/ST candidates. Interested candidates can apply online through CEE (Commissioner for Entrance Examinations) website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 22nd July- 30th July, 5 pm.
They can pay the application fees online (Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card) or using an e-challan available during the online application filling process. The e-challan payment can be made in cash at any Head/Sub Post Offices in Kerala. After fee payment, the candidate has to upload a recent passport size colour photograph and signature to the online application. After completing the application submission procedure, candidates can download the Application Acknowledgement Page and keep a copy of it for future reference.
Fees, once paid, cannot be refunded. However, the applicant must understand that mere fee deduction from the Bank account is not considered fee payment proof. The Pay Application Fee tab on the online application screen will turn green when successfully paid. After completing the online application submission, the “Application Acknowledgement Page” will contain the payment transaction reference number.
The KMAT Admit Cards can be downloaded from the CEE website (www.cee.kerala.gov.in) when CEE announces the date. The card should be produced in the examination along with valid ID Proof. Commissioner for Entrance Examination will not entertain any request for change of the date/centres of Entrance Examination once declared.
The selection and admission to MBA courses are subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility and other prescribed criteria by Government, Universities and Institutions and not just limited to qualifying in KMAT 2022. The applicants are requested to check periodically CEE the website (www.cee.kerala.gov.in) for updates and information.
