The B. Pharm aims to provide thorough knowledge about drugs, their chemical properties, store and distribute them to patients, and instruct them in the safe usage of drugs and research for developing new drugs. The candidate should have passed plus- two examinations or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects. Or any other qualification that is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. Certified D. Pharm course holders from an approved institution by the Pharmacy Council of India can join B. Pharm lateral entry. B. Pharm course is eight semesters (four years) for regular B. Pharm students and six semesters (3 years) for lateral entry students. After the course completion, the candidate can get their license and work as a pharmacist in India and abroad.
