Study Diploma in Dialysis Technology (DDT) in Karnataka

Diploma in Dialysis Technology equips the students to analyze the patient's condition, use the dialysis equipment and remove the waste and excess fluid from the patient's kidney as the kidney cannot perform its own. They are skilled to plan, organize, analyze, interpret and report clinical data and treatment-related materials. They provide safe and ethical care to dialysis patients and communicate effectively to the patient, family members, and other medical staff. They are also trained to maintain the dialysis equipment effectively. 

Eligibility:

Applicant must have passed 10th or 12th std. The plus two students should have English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Biology as optional subjects.

The government seat candidates will be selected through central counseling held every year between August and October. For Management seats, the candidates can apply directly.

Fees:

The fees for government seats are Rs. 4000/- per annum, government seats in private colleges are Rs.8000/- per annum, and Management seats are Rs.20,000/- per annum.

Duration:

The 10th / SSLC passed out students should study for three years. They will be taught plus two-level English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The PUC/ Plus two students should study for two years.
