Study Diploma in X-Ray Technology in Karnataka

The modern medical laboratory needs qualified technicians to perform smoothly. There are many diplomas program available to interested students. A diploma in X-Ray Technology (DXRT) is one among them. Diploma in X-Ray Technology is a radiography course that teaches the students to operate an x-ray machine, position the patient, create an image and submit the patient report to the doctor. The X-Ray Technology uses electromagnetic radiation that penetrates inside the body and creates images on x-ray film. The report helps the doctor to provide correct treatment to the patient.

Eligibility:

The candidate must have successfully completed 10th Std or 12th std. The plus two/ PUC candidates should have English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Biology as optional subjects.

The government seat candidates will be selected through central counseling. Management seat aspirants can apply directly at college.

Fees:

The fees for government seats are Rs. 4000/- per year, private college government seats are Rs.8000/- per year, and Management seats are around Rs.20,000/- per year.

Duration:

Three years/ two years

The SSLC / 10th Std completed students must study for three years. They learn plus two-level English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The PUC/ Plus two students must study for two years.
