1) Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students- (Technical Degree):

AICTE implements Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students (Technical Degree) to assist in girls' advancement in technical education. It is an attempt from the All India Council for Technical Education to give young women an opportunity to further their education and prepare for a successful future by empowering them with knowledge, skill and self-confidence.
For the eligibility, the female applicant should be admitted to the first year of the degree or the second year through lateral entry in any of the AICTE-approved institutions of that year. Only two female children per family are eligible. The annual family income from every source should not be more than eight lakhs rupees. The State/ UT Government-issued valid income certificate must be enclosed.
The scholarship offers Rs. 50,000/- annually for every year of study, i.e. maximum of four years for first-year admitted students and a maximum of three years for second-year permitted students through lateral entry towards payment of college fees, purchase of computer, stationeries, books, equipment, software etc. No other additional grant will be payable besides the hostel and medical charges.

AICTE implements the Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students (Technical Diploma) to assist in the advancement of Girls pursuing technical education. It is an attempt by AICTE to give young women the opportunity to further their education and for a successful future by "Empowering Women through Technical Education".
The female candidate should be admitted to the First year of a Diploma level course or Second year of a Diploma level course through lateral entry in any of the AICTE-approved institutions of the respective year. A maximum of two female children per family are eligible for the scholarship. The annual family income from all sources should not be more than eight lakhs rupees. The State / UT Government-issued valid income certificate needs to be attached along with the application.
The eligible girls get an annual scholarship of Rs. 50,000/- for every year of study, i.e. three years maximum for first-year admitted students and two years total for second-year admitted students through lateral entry towards payment of college fees, computers, stationeries, books, equipment, software etc. They are not eligible for any additional grant for accommodation and medical charges.

3) Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Specially-Abled Student (Technical Degree)

Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Specially-Abled Student (Technical Degree) is an MHRD Scheme implemented by AICTE focused on providing encouragement and support to specially-abled children to pursue technical education. It attempts to allow every specially-abled young student to study further and prepare for a successful future through technical education and knowledge.
The applicant must be admitted to the First or Second year Degree through lateral entry in any of the AICTE-approved institutions of the respective year. The applicant's annual family income from all sources should not exceed more than eight lakhs rupees. A State /UT Government-issued valid income certificate must be produced.
The students receive Rs. 50,000/- annually for every year of study, i.e. maximum of four years for first-year admitted students and full three years for second-year permitted students through lateral entry as a lump sum amount towards the payment of college fees, computer, stationeries, books, equipment, software etc. No other additional grant will be paid for accommodation or medical expenses.

Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Specially Abled Student (Technical Diploma)
is an MHRD Scheme implemented by AICTE focused on encouraging and supporting specially-abled children to pursue technical education. It attempts to allow every young specially-abled student to study further and prepare for a successful future through technical education and knowledge.
The candidate must be admitted to the First or Second-year Diploma through lateral entry in any of the AICTE-approved institutions of the respective year. The annual family income from all sources should not be more than eight lakhs rupees. The state or UT government-issued valid income certificate must be enclosed.
The scholarship amount is Rs. 50,000/- per annum for every year of study. The whole three years for first-year admitted students and full two years for the second year admitted students towards payment of college fee, computer purchase, stationeries, books, equipment, software etc. No other additional grant is allowed for lodging and medical charges

5) AICTE – Swanath Scholarship Scheme (Technical Diploma)

AICTE implements the Swanath Scholarship Scheme (Technical Diploma) to provide financial support to orphans, wards of parents who died due to Covid-19, wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed) to pursue education. It aims to give every such child an opportunity to study further and have a promising career through education in AICTE Approved institutions and courses.
The eligible candidate should be an orphan, or either or both parents died due to covid or wards of armed forces or central paramilitary forces martyred in action. Their annual family income from all sources should not be more than eight lakhs. The State/UT Government-issued valued income certificate must be enclosed. The candidate must pursue education in the AICTE-approved institutions and courses at the Degree or Diploma level in regular mode (in 1st /2nd / 3rd /4th year). The applicant should not be a recipient of any other Central Government/ State Government or AICTE Sponsored scholarships.
The annual scholarship amount is Rs. 50,000.00 every year of study, i.e. maximum four years duration for the first year admitted Degree students and full three years for Diploma Students towards payment of college fee, purchase of computer, stationeries, books, equipment, software etc. No other additional grant is allowed for their hostel and medical charges. If the student is pursuing education in the 2nd /3rd/4th year at degree level, the scholarship duration is reduced to 3/2/1 year, respectively. Likewise, for students currently studying in the 2nd /3rd year at diploma level, the scholarship duration is 2/1 year, respectively.
