Course
The main objective of the department is to focus on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Thoughts on subjects like Peace and Security Studies, International Relations, Foreign Policy, Constitutional Studies, Economic Thoughts, Religion, Philosophy, Indian Society, Social Work, Polity, Human Rights and India’s National Security. The department admits Indian and international students from all faculties for Post-Graduate Diploma in Ambedkar Thought’s on India’s National Security.The Department of Ambedkar Studies, SPPU and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI), work together under the MOU signed between The Department of Ambedkar Studies, SPPU and BARTI, for the promotion of PG Diploma on ‘Ambedkar Thoughts on India’s National Security’, the Centre and Institute will jointly coordinate teaching, research and training activities with the financial assistance from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute, for a period of five years.
Duration : 2 Years
Eligibility : Candidates should have successfully completed their Bachelor's degree (preferably arts) of a minimum 3 or 4-year duration with its equivalent (10+2+3 or 10+2+4). The bachelor's or master's degree should be from a university which is recognized by the UGC (University Grants Commission) of India
