Course
The Department of Anatomy teaches the structure of the human body region wise by actual dissection of cadavers. This is supported effectively by theory classes stressing the applied and clinical departments will be integrated into the teaching programme. Students will be initiated and encouraged at an early stage to learn the basics of research methodology.
Doctor of Medicine in Anatomy is a non-clinical branch in postgraduate after MBBS Course.The purpose of MD Anatomy is to create specialists who would provide high quality health care and research and training.The main objective of study MD Anatomy is to make a doctor become a capable faculty and researcher in the field of anatomy.
Duration: 3 Years
Admission Eligibility and Process
Prospective students should have completed an M.B.B.S. degree with minimum 55% marks from a recognised university board.Admissions in MD course will be done through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG).Candidates must possess recognised degree of MBBS (or its equivalent recognised degree).
