Course
AIMS Institutes, Bangalore commenced the M.Com (F&A) / MFA program from the academic year 2017-18. MFA is a two-year (four semesters) program, affiliated to Bangalore University and is designed exclusively as a separate course that provides an extra competitive edge to the students who wish to specialize and make a career in Finance and Accounting. Majority of the subjects covered in the course are dynamic in nature which changes as per the fiscal and monetary policies of the Government. Therefore, this course instills the habit of periodic updating of knowledge in students which is the need of the hour in modern business world. This dedicated program will give students a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the financial and accounting tools, techniques and controls available and the ability to apply these in the workplace with confidence. This course provide the students with opportunities to develop managerial and analytical skills in order to meet the challenges of business at the national and global level.
Duration
The Course Of Study For MFA, Degree Shall Extend Over A Period Of Two Years Divided Into 4 (Four) Semesters.
Eligibility
- A candidate who has passed the B.Com/B.B.M/BBA/BBS Degree examination of Bangalore University or of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto and has secured not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate shall be eligible for admission to the course.
- In the case of SC/ST/CAT-I students and blind students the minimum percentage of marks required shall be less by 5%.
