About Us
The Aladi Aruna Foundation was started in the year 2007 in memory of Mr. Aladi Aruna – born in a humble family in a small village called Aladipatti, in Tirunelveli district. Mr. Aladi Aruna through his sheer hardwork determination and perseverance excelled in the fields of literature and politics both at the state and national level. He was very passionate about providing quality healthcare and education of highest standards to the rural and downtrodden.To fulfil Mr. Aladi Aruna’s lofty ideals the AAF has conducted numerous health camps, supports children who require life saving medical surgical treatment and provide educational material and scholarships to deserving underprivileged students. The foundation has launched a mobile health clinic to cater to the needs of the rural masses in the Tirunelveli district. The Chairman and trustees of Aladi Aruna Foundation dedicates the college of nursing to Thiru. Aladi Aruna and thus fulfill his long cherished dream of a robust, inclusive and a developed society.
