The Global Leaders’ Alliance (GLA) is a flagship (postgraduate diploma) program in Liberal Arts at Alliance University. It is a multi-disciplinary fellowship program designed to train the world’s most talented young thinkers, citizens, politicians, and men to be leaders in all areas of thought and action. The aim of the program is to provide the best possible international education to the most promising minds in Asia and in the world. The courses are designed to complement each other to build a comprehensive knowledge base that allows fellows to approach any problem with insight, precision and balance. By the end of the fellowship, students will be familiar with governance and citizenship, critical thinking and argument, art and communication, economics and corporate ethics, social welfare and environment. The key features of the GLA Fellowship program are having oxford faculty, a fully-funded program, interdisciplinary courses, cultural heritage tour, internships, international study exchange, application assistance to ivy leagues, modern and ancient languages, podcasts, conferences, and magazines. The eligibility for applying to the fellowship program is the candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from any recognized national/international university. The candidates must have a good verbal and written ability in English, must be below 35 years and have good academic and extra-curricular excellence. The selection process is by an application & written/ videotaped expression of interest, written test, and personal interview. The one-year fellowship includes 9 months of an in-campus academic program, and a 3-month internship/ foreign exchange. Those who complete this 1-year program will be awarded a postgraduate degree/diploma in liberal arts. The various career that awaits a GLA fellow is Corporate Governance, Scientist and Technical Consultant, Market Research and Advertising, Public Administration and Policy Making, Media and Publishing, Politics and Political Management, Public Relations and Communication Strategy, Archivist and Curators, Diplomats, Interpreters, Translators.
