About Us
Altai State Medical University (ASMU) is one of the leading West Siberian medical universities conducting high quality medical training. The six faculties of the university (The Faculties of General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Preventive Medicine and The Faculty of Foreign Students) train approximately 6000 students a year. There is an extensive post graduate program as well as a retraining program for medical personnel. The Institute of Pre-University Training and the Institute of Postgraduate Training provide continuous professional development of ASMU students and postgraduates. Students and specialists from 19 countries study at ASMU this year. They are: India, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Mongolia, China, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Tadzhikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and others). ASMU has its Association of Foreign Students.
