Course
B.Sc Cardio Pulmonary Perfusion Care Technology is an undergraduate program offered by AMC College of Allied Health Sciences Tiruppur . The program aims to bring out competent cardiovascular perfusionists to support cardiac medical team during open-heart surgery and related procedures. AMC College of Allied Health Sciences Tiruppur affiliated to Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University . They conduct cardiopulmonary bypass using the heart-lung machine and other related medical equipment, closely monitor the patient's blood flow and additional vital signs during open-heart surgery, administer intravenous fluids and medication. The syllabus covers cardiothoracic anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, fetal and neonatal cardiac development and perfusion science.
