M.Tech. Power Systems Engineering is a postgraduate program. M.Tech Power system is one of the Core Engineering Department. The program covers related specialities such as System Analysis of Power, Planning of Stability Evaluations, Forecasting and Reliability, Power Electronics and Drives, High Voltage DC Transmission, Industrial Electronics and Controls, Wind and Solar Energy Electric Conversion System etc.

Candidates should have BE or B.Tech. degree in relevant specialization with an aggregate of 50% marks Students are admitted through PGCET conducted by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
